Space Maintainer Care
Your child has had a space maintainer placed today. The banded teeth may be ore for several days. Advil, Ibuprofen or Motrin should help with this. Your child may hyper salivate or have a slight lisp. This should subside once he or she becomes accustomed to the appliance. Your child should avoid hard, sticky foods and call our office as soon as possible should the appliance come loose or come off.
