Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Garrett, a board-certified pediatric dentist, was born outside of Orlando, Florida, and moved to Texas when she was eleven years old. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas for college and moved to Houston where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2010. She continued on and received both her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and Masters of Science in Dentistry from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Dr. Garrett is one of the few pediatric dentists in the country to be board-certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery. A level achieved for her training and credentials in the treatment of tongue-ties and other oral restrictions affecting speech, feeding, and development.
Dr. Garrett is deeply committed to continued learning about dentistry. She is a member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has served as Secretary, Vice President, and President of the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry group.
Dr. Garrett enjoys going to the movies, hanging out with friends, and cooking and traveling. She has a cat, Elphie, named after a character in Dr. Garrett’s favorite musical, Wicked!
