Rita M. Cammarata, D.D.S.
Dr. Rita Cammarata is a native Texan, born and raised
in Port Arthur ,Texas.
She is a graduate of Lamar University and practiced
pediatric dental hygiene for 12 years before returning to dental school in
1992. Dr. Cammarata received her dental degree as well as specialty
training in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Texas Health
Science Center Houston Dental Branch.
Dr. Cammarata has
received numerous awards for her
professional accomplishments. She is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry. She is currently the President
of the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr.
Cammarata has been honored with the
President's Award of the Greater Houston
Dental Society for Dedicated service to the
society, the Award of Excellence from the
American Student Dental Association and has
received special recognition from the
American Society of Dentistry for Children
for her outstanding proficiency in Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Cammarata has been active in
organized dentistry for many years. She has
served as chairperson of the Greater Houston
Dental Society Dental Health Committee, a
member of the GHDS Peer Review Committee,
and has served as Delegate to the Texas
Dental Association House of Delegates. She
is also Past Secretary Treasurer of GHDS,
Past-President of the Houston Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the
University Of Texas Dental Branch Alumni
Association Board Of Directors, a member of
the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
and is active in her community supporting
numerous youth activities and academics.
Dr. Cammarata is an active advocate for children’s
dental issues. She actively pursues continuing educational opportunities
with a special focus in caries prevention, and growth and development of
the jaws and facial structures.
When Dr. Cammarata is not in the office she enjoys
photography, art, crafts and travel.

Yadah Sringam,
D.D.S.
Dr.
Sringam was born in a small town in Texas but actually grew up in Thailand.
Most recently, Dr. Sringam was a clinical instructor at the University of
Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency
at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In 1998 she was
awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Chulalongkorn University in
Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2004 Dr. Sringam received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring
in the top 3% on the written exam given by the American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry.
Dr. Sringam is involved in numerous dental organizations. Among these are the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas
Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society and Houston Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sringam is currently teaching part-time at the University of Texas Dental
Branch, Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She has been a volunteer for Olympics Special Smiles, Dental Health
program where she participated in oral health screening for special need
athletes. She also helped perform dental screenings for children at area
schools for Franciscan Children’s Hospital Kid’s Dental Care Van. Dr. Sringam
maintains her continuing education yearly. She has also done research on
dental caries, sealant bond strength, and water defluoridation.
In her time off Dr. Sringam enjoys swimming, yoga, tennis, traveling and
cooking.
